Applications.

It's been a couple of weeks since we got the call about our birth mom losing her baby. Since then our profile has been shown to 4 more moms, and turned down 4 times. We decided to apply to an agency in Indiana (so close to us!) and when I was about to mail the application, I realized we were out of checks. Then as I was pulling out of my driveway thinking I would mail the application and just paypal the agency, I ended up chatting with my neighbor.

My neighbor told me about a preemie in a local hospital that MAY end up being placed for adoption. So at this point we are waiting for more information about the baby. I figured I will wait to send in that application for the other agency until we know about this little one. Just in case. If it isn't a possibility, we'll apply to the agency in Indiana, and keep waiting.

I also printed a stack of adoption grant paperwork today... so that is something to work on.

I'm tired of waiting. But I know it's worth it!
