We found out tonight that we would need to write a check for $11-13,000 for birth mom's living expenses to the California agency, as well as $9,000 to the agency for their fees. (that's $20,000 + the $6,500 to our agency + legal fees + travel expenses, for a total of $34,000+, and we have raised $20k so far).
I had this whole blog written up on how we could somehow possibly raise $7000 in the next few days, but Britt and I talked and he asked me not to post it.
