Show Hope Grant!

It came!

We received a grant for $7,000 from Show Hope! 

This means we are up to $14,000 in our adoption fund!

What an answered prayer, we are so incredibly thankful for this grant. Our agency says this adoption might cost up to $25,000 in which case, we're over halfway there!

Now excuse me while I take my excessive exclamation points and go make dinner... While dancing... :)

In other news, our digital family profile is currently being designed by the agency while we work on the hard copy of the book.

Show Hope application

We've finished filling out the application for a grant with Show Hope and now are just waiting for letters from our pastor and agency, so we can submit the whole packet. I (Rachel) am super hopeful that we'll get a grant from them, but we won't know for about 90 days.

In other news, it looks like we'll be holding a raffle for an American Girl doll in the next few weeks. We're still sorting out the details, but we'll post a blog on how to enter the drawing once we've gotten it organized!
