You don't need to be particularly crafty to do these, no sewing is necessary. Just get some string/yarn and stick something on it so that your partner can hang it on their wall. :)
How the Exchange Works:
- You can enter the exchange starting today by filling out the form at the bottom of this post, and the deadline for entering is November 17th.
- The cost to participate is $5 plus the cost of your materials {you can definitely use materials you have on hand and spend nothing on the garland}.
- Please pay the $5 fee by clicking on the "Donate" button at the top of my right sidebar. When you are processing your donation there is a link that says, "Add special instructions to the seller". Please click on that link and enter the same name that you use on the form below so that I can match up your entry with your payment. If you are signing up your child(ren) you may make one payment, but please enter each name in the instructions box.
- If you want to mail a check, please see the bottom of this post.
- If you would like to exchange more than one garland, please submit a new form for each one that you would like to do, and then pay the appropriate fee {$5 per garland}.
- Please pay as soon as you sign up!
- You'll make a 6 foot garland for your partner, which should only cost a couple dollars to ship by First Class Mail.
- I'll match people up randomly and send your match by November 19.
- Your garland must be shipped by December 6th to your partner. That gives you about 2 1/2 weeks (Nov 19-Dec 6) to make one and send it.
There are SO many options for creating garlands! You don't need to sew a thing (unless you want to) and with paper and string you can do so much. :)
Here are some great garland ideas!
